David Betancourt is an editor for Sports Memorabilia and Collectibles at The Athletic. He was previously an Eisner Award-nominated staff writer in the Style section of The Washington Post covering all aspects of comic book culture and is the author of the book The Avengers Assembled: The Origin Story of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (2023).
