Double or even triple the impact of your donation to The Phillips Collection by participating in your employer's matching gift program. Many employers will match your charitable contribution to the Phillips with an equal or higher amount if you or your spouse are an employee, retiree, or board member of a company.

The Phillips Collection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, an important qualification for many companies' matching gifts programs. Click here for The Phillips Collection 501(c)(3) Tax Exemption Letter.

Check with your company or use the search feature below to see if they have a matching gifts program and to request a matching gift form from your employer. Send the completed and signed form with your gift and we will do the rest!

The Phillips Collection welcomes IRA rollover gifts, which can be transferred directly to the museum from an IRA without incurring income tax.

Please note that IRS rules limit the use of IRA qualified charitable distributions and Donor-Advised Fund distributions for memberships providing benefits. We encourage you to speak with your tax advisor or IRA provider regarding any questions you have about your IRA.

The Phillips Collection welcomes fully charitable gifts through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), family foundations, and other forms of private foundations in support of our mission and programming.

Per the IRS, contributions for memberships, for tickets to fundraising events such as our Annual Gala, or other contributions that provide “personal benefits” with fair market value to a donor in exchange for their gift, may not be paid for in full or in part through a DAF or private foundation unless the donor waives those benefits. Please consult your tax advisor or DAF representative for guidance and more information about these types of charitable gifts.

If you are considering making a gift through a DAF and would like more information, please contact:
