The Phillips Plays
Heartfelt Art
Bring your family to investigate materials, methods, and ideas in art.
In a family-friendly tour at 11 am, experience Leo Villareal’s Scramble, a computer-generated light sculpture of concentric squares in constant motion. In the workshop, families will create heartfelt art inspired by Scramble’s quilt-like design that envelops the viewer in color. We will make quilt squares with pieces of colorful adhesive felt–no sewing required!
In addition to exploring art materials and methods in the studio, families may enjoy the carpeted, creative-play area with blocks, books, toys, and games.
