Hands-on with Quilt-making

Join us for a hands-on quilt-making workshop with artist Linling Lu. The intergenerational program, happening on International Women’s Day, is a celebration of grandmothers. Participants are invited to come with their families and bring textiles and objects that carry memory and meaning such as fabric passed down from their grandmother. We will conceptualize and design the quilts with textiles brought from home and provided fabric and trinkets.

Linling Lu will discuss the meaning her grandmother has brought to her artistic practice as well as demonstrate techniques she uses to make quilts.
