FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

When will we be able to see the season lineup to choose which concerts we want to attend? 

The entire 84th Season is available on our website, as of August 27, 2024. 

Do members receive a discount?  

All members receive a 30% discount off both single tickets and full-season subscriptions. 

What benefits to Members receive related to Phillips Music? Do members receive early access to purchase tickets and subscriptions?

Yes! Circles members (Patron Circle, $2,500–Collector Circle, $25,000) receive two weeks advance sale. Friends members (Individual Friend, $75–Explorer Friend, $1,200) and Contemporaries ($500+) receive one week advance sale.

When are the advance sale periods? 

September 6, 12 pm: Season long subscriptions and single tickets on sale for Circles members 
September 13, 12 pm: Season long subscriptions and single tickets on sale for all Friends members 
September 20, 12 pm: Subscriptions and single tickets on sale for general public 

How can I move to an earlier advance sales period?  

If you would like access to an earlier advance sales period, we invite you to consider deepening your support for the season ahead. Increase your giving level now, and we can accelerate your sales period in anticipation of reserving your subscription for the coming season. You can do so by contacting Courtney North, Associate Major Gifts Officer, at music@phillipscollection.org or 202.387.2151 x250. 

How much is a ticket? 

A single ticket for non-members is $50. A single ticket for a Phillips Collection member is $35 (30% discount).  

What does a subscription include and how much does it cost?

Season subscriptions for the 2024-2025 season include one ticket to all Sunday Concerts and the single Thursday concert scheduled October 13, 2024, through May 4, 2025. 

A single season-long subscription for non-members is $1,200. A single season-long subscription for a Phillips Collection member is $840 (30% discount). 

Can I purchase a subscription for a select number of concerts?

Not at this time. In the 2024/25 season, we are piloting season-long subscriptions. We may explore the potential of custom subscriptions in the future. 

If I subscribe to the season, can I get a refund on the tickets I don’t use? 

No; if you do not plan on attending all of the concerts, we recommend purchasing tickets to the selection of concerts that you plan to attend. Your subscription tickets are transferable to a friend if you can’t make it, or you may donate them back to the Phillips, and receive a tax deduction. 

I purchased single tickets to a concert, and I cannot attend anymore, what should I do?

Please email reservations@phillipscollection.org with your full name and which concert you cannot attend. Your subscription tickets are transferable to a friend if you can’t make it, or you may donate them back to the Phillips, and receive a tax deduction. 

I will not be available during my advance sales period. What should I do?  

You may subscribe by phone, mail, or fax before your advance sales period. Insider Circle+ members will be seated based on their subscription order postmark or date/time stamp of your email. 

I missed my advance sale period. What should I do?  

You are welcome to subscribe during any subsequent advance sales period and will be seated, along with all other subscribers ordering during that period, on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Are the livestreams free?

Members at all levels beginning with Contemporaries ($500+) will now receive access to all online, livestreamed performances at no additional charge. We are still finalizing details of this livestream benefit. Additionally, a select number of livestreams will be free to the entire public this season. Please check back in October for more details.

Why can’t I be guaranteed specific seats?  

Part of the allure of the Music Room is its intimate proportions, however due to the room size and limited seating, we may receive multiple requests for the same position. We will attempt to honor as many requests as we can and will communicate with you, in advance, should your seats be changed.
