The work of Icelandic sculptor Katrín Sigurđardóttir examines the embodiment of distance and memory in architecture, cartography, and traditional landscapes. Her works cross the boundary between perceived and physical space, forcing viewers to create new spatial relationships. In conversation with Joyce Tsai, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for the Study of Modern Art and the George Washington University.
