In a discussion with 2016-17 Phillips Postdoctoral Fellow in Modern and Contemporary Art History Max Rosenberg, New York-based sculptor and installation artist Abigail DeVille will share about her sculptural activity, which combines urban archaeology with the poetry of everyday experience. DeVille attended the Pratt Institute and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, earned a BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and an MFA from Yale University. In addition to the Radcliffe Fellowship, she has held residencies at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in Brooklyn and the Studio Museum in Harlem.
