Checkroom
Items that must be checked include:
  • Backpacks or large hand-held or shoulder bags that protrude behind the person’s back. These can cause damage if the person inadvertently backs into a painting, particularly easy to do in a small gallery.

  • All umbrellas.
  • Tripods and easels.
  • All packages.

Visitors with Children
Please stay with your children at all times. Strollers and front facing baby carriers are permitted in the galleries; backpacks, including back baby carriers, are not allowed.

Elevators are available throughout the museum; a wheelchair lift is also available between Floor 3 and the skywalk to House Floor 2U. Please see a museum assistant for access.
