Did you know that the District of Columbia’s flag was inspired by George Washington’s coat of arms? Come celebrate all things DC with local artists, entrepreneurs, and musicians! Hear local artists talk about other DC artists featured in the permanent collection and enjoy a performance by DC composer and singer Lulu Fall. Enjoy a beer tasting with 3 Stars Brewing Company, specialty cocktails from Republic Restoratives, and small bites from Dorjee Momo and Tortilladora.

In partnership with Shop Made in DC, enjoy discussions with Shop Made in DC co-founder Stacey Price, as well as spotlight talks with local makers Cherie Lester and Eva Calonder. Featured DC makers include: Tanya Maynigo-Loucks, Craft Kombucha; Pia Carusone and Rachel Gardner Republic Restoratives; Alissa Werres, Off on a Tangent; and Mariko Iwata, Miks Letterpress Plus.

Celebrate the anniversary of the Women’s March and pen a letter in To Future Women, an installation by Georgia Saxelby.
