This series of monthly open conversations serve as a platform for audiences to further engage on larger issues represented in both special exhibitions. Some discussions address existing political and social movements related to themes in the exhibition. Each conversation begins with a “big idea” and follows with questions related to the monthly #PhillipsConversation prompt. Live tweeted by the Phillips (@phillipsmuseum), these in-gallery conversations are facilitated by experts related to migration, discrimination and segregation, and community and identity.
