Engage with the abstract expressionist art of Jackson Pollock, Alfonso Ossorio, and Jean Dubuffet to make dynamic connections to your curriculum. Participants will explore the rich visual affinities developed through cross-cultural exchanges of the three international artists in the exhibition Angels, Demons, and Savages: Pollock, Ossorio, Dubuffet. Learn arts integrated teaching methods in a hands-on art-making workshop led by DCPS art teacher Laurie McLaughlin Ward and enjoy a gallery talk led by a Phillips Collection educator.
